This event is our contribution to the wider Hills 2 Oceans campaign which is run by the BMC to ultimately help reduce waste going into our oceans.
The logic being that 80% of all debris in the ocean comes from inland and if we remove the waste at source, it won’t end up in the oceans.

The day is aimed at Explorer Scouts, Scout Network & Adult Leaders. We’ll meet at Bibbys Farm for an 09:00 start and then send teams out to lots of local crags and climbing spots to litter pick, remove waste and generally leave those places in a better condition for all future users. Our team will co-ordinate the people, transport, equipment and so on.

There is no charge for the event but to enable booking through our systems, we are asking for a donation of £5 per team to support our new climbing wall for which we are currently fundraising.

We have had a few people asking if they can camp over and yes, absolutely, just book this as a normal camping booking. We’re currently also looking at putting on some entertainment on the Saturday night for those taking part.
