This event is aimed at Scouts & Guides but Cub Teams, Explorers, Senior Section and Leaders are also very welcome to take part.
Scouts who reach the required standard will achieve their Chef Activity Badge which we will provide.
Come and camp for the full weekend. We will provide numerous challenges throughout the weekend to test your skills as a budding Chef and judge your menu design, food storage and execution of each meal. In particular, the Saturday evening meal will be a 3 course meal that you must prepare for your patrol and include an additional two guests who will judge your cooking skills.
The cost is £10 per person and can include up to 6 people per team. It includes camp fee for Sat night plus all materials and food for the challenges.
You need to budget for the food for the remaining meals. There will also be free time to undertake your own activities if you wish. A detailed programme will be sent out upon booking your places. Set up camp on the Friday night for just the extra night’s camp fee.
